Welcome to the Harris Fly rods website. I make split cane fly rods designed to be fished with. But, just because they are primarily tools, dosn't mean that they shouldn't be well finished and fitted with the best components.

Here you can find out about my rod building and philosophy of angling, look at some pretty pictures, and as time progresses, access the results of my own rod building experiments.

This site is very much a work in progress, and as such I will continue to add content and redesign in order to make it the best possible resource for all of us that enjoy fishing with a nice bamboo rod.
